We don't want a big hotel, you know. For us, it's very important that the client is Mr. Smith or Ms. Lang, and something like that, not number 2001. We start to buy one hotel after the other-the second in Florence, then in Bologna, Venice, Rome, Milan and Verona.They are all five-star hotels.

We are in our Tiepolo Suite. AII our suites are named after important, renowned Italian painters. This is one of our most important suites due to the size and a unique feature, which is the terrace. All our furniture is original, dated some of them 18th century, some are the 19th century. And we try to keep the charm of a cozy and romantic ambiance. And that's what our clients are looking for when they come to Venice.

Back in Tuscany and business aside, Roberto and [his] wife Lisa enjoy his other passion-wine. The villa boasts a vineyard where around 35,000 bottles of his wine, Poleo, are bottled every year.
