It served as office, laboratory, factory, and warehouse. The company's first product was santonin--a palatable antiparasitic which was an immediate success. For the past 154 years, Pfizer has been discovering, developing, manufacturing, and marketing leading prescription medicines for humans and animals and many for the world's best-known consumer brands.
