这段时间，我们学校大四的同学都相继外出实习，获得一定的工作经验，以更好地适应即将到来的毕业找工作，那么实习应该怎么用英语表达呢？

实习期的正确表述是internship。在一些国际大公司的graduate program中，还有更严格的细分，比如说first year internship，penultimate year internship，undergraduate internship和postgraduate internship的区别。目的是在于see where you fit，也就是让实习生了解到底什么才最适合他们。

During my internship, I came into contact for the first time with society. 在实习时，我才第一次接触到社会。

I would like to apply for the internship position that you advertised on the Internet. 我想申请您在网上广告的实习职位。

此外还可以用其他的表达方法：

We decided against going to the factory for practice.
我们决定不到工厂去实习了。

The term of practice is tentatively fixed at half a year.
实习期限暂定为半年。
