All the main suspects in the four major arson cases during the March 14 Lhasa riot in the Tibet Autonomous Region have all been arrested. They allegedly burnt 12 people to death.
Jiang Zaiping is Deputy Director of the local public security bureau in Lhasa.
"Under the supervision and support from the Ministry of Public Security, we have allocated special forces under a designated panel for the case inspection. In addition, the clues provided by local people have also been contributive to breaking the four cases."
According to the official, each family of the victims killed in the Lhasa riots has received compensation of 200,000 yuan, or nearly 30,000 U.S. dollars.
At least 18 civilians and one police officer were killed in the riot and more than 600 people were injured.
Official statistics say that, over 410 suspects involved in the four cases have been arrested, amongst which 300 have surrendered to police authorities.
Monks from neighboring China's Sichuan Province condemned the Dalai Lama Clique.

"Being the followers of Buddhism, I feel heart-broken for their actions as those criminals have killed and injured so many people in Lhasa, one of the holy places of Buddhism."
Riots also broke out in the Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province ten days after the Lhasa violence. One policeman was killed and several others were injured.
