第4单元 让我们去散步

1.Listen, write the numbers and say.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning.

那是一个很美的周六早上。

Harry and Michael got up very early.

哈利和麦克起得很早。

They want to take a walk.

他们想去散步。

They got out their building first.

他们先走出大楼。

And then they run around the playground for about ten minutes.

Later they passed the supermarket,the little swimming pool,the coffee shop and went up a small hill.

On the way they saw a small garden but they didn't go in .

And they saw two little ducks walking on the road.So they followed the duck.

When they came to the red house,they stopped and looked the house for about five minutes and then they went up the hill.

They saw some apple trees.

他们看见一些苹果树。

There are some apples on the tree but they didn't take any.

树上有很多苹果，但他们一个也没有摘。

They walked along the road and saw a vegetable field.

他们沿着路走，看见了一片菜地。

A farmer was working in the field.

一个农民正在菜地里干活。

They went on walking and saw some very tall trees.

他们继续走，接着看见了一些很高的树。

And next to the tall trees there was a great house,it was very nice.

挨着这些高树的是一个很棒的房子，很漂亮。

They stayed upon the hill for thirty minutes and they came back by a small river.

他们在山上待了大约30分钟，然后沿着一条小河回去。

They saw a white house and then back to the apple trees,and the red house.

他们看见一个白房子，然后回到了苹果树那里，还有红房子。

Soon they went back home.

不久他们就回到了家。

It was twelve o'clock noon time.

3.Listen, think and learn.

Walking one mile in 20 minutes is as much as swimming for 10 minutes and playing football for 12 minutes.

Walking is good for the body.

You can enjoy walking in different places and different seasons.

You can walk almost anywhere.

Walking to school or shops,

Walking with dog or walking with a friend.

Walking helps you sleep better.

Walking helps you strengthen your legs.

Walking helps you stay young.

Walking helps you live longer.

One day,a doctor went to visit a 74-year-old woman who had been in bed for 40 years.

He could find nothing wrong with her.

Could you tell me what happened 40 years ago?

Oh,yes,I had a cold.

My doctor gave me some medicine and told me to stay in bed until he came back.

But up to now,he hasn't come back.

I see.But are you still feeling sick now?

I began to feel better within a few days of taking the medicine and I have felt well ever since.

At first,I thought I should wait for the doctor to come back.

Yes.I've thought about that and I even tried once.
