So that's how the passive form is used in the present simple tense
好,这就是一般现在时的被动语态怎么使用的
How do we use it in the past simple tense?
那么一般过去时的被动语态该怎么用呢?
It's easier than you might think
它比你想象的可能要简单
for starters remember that in the past tense
首先要记住在过去式中
the form of the verb “be” changes to “was” or “were”
根据句子的主语是单数或复数
according to whether the subject of the sentence is singular or plural
动词be的形式可随之变为was或were
The ribbon was cut in record time
带子被在记录时间内被剪断了
The thieves were caught red-handed
窃贼们在作案时被抓住了
Notice that we do not know from these sentences
要注意在上面这些句子里
Who cut the ribbon and who caught the thieves
我们并不知道谁剪断了缎带,谁抓住了窃贼
The question form of the past simple passive has created
一般过去时的疑问形式通过
by putting the verb “be” before the subject
将动词be放在主语前面形成
Was the ribbon cut in record time?
带子在记录时间内被剪断了吗?
Were the thieves caught red-handed?
窃贼是在作案时被抓到的吗?
It's time for another dialogue
现在是看下一个情景对话的时候了
Watch closely, read aloud with the subtitles
用心阅读,跟字幕一起大声朗读

were you just trying to make him invisible for a little while?

What are you talking about? Who's invisible?
你们在说什么?谁不见了?

我很难过,我们以前对他太过分了
Was there sadness at his house?

how to use the passive form and past simple tense
如何使用被动语态和一般过去时
Here is the dialog once more
再听一遍情景对话
Was it your fault he disappeared or
他消失了,是你的错?
Were you just trying to make him invisible for a little while?
或者你让他暂时躲起来了?
It wasn't my fault
那不是我的错
There were over five hundred disappearances last year
去年发生了五百起失踪案件呢
What are you talking about? Who's invisible?
你们在说什么?谁不见了?
It's sad. We were always so mean to him
我很难过,我们以前对他太过分了
Was there sadness at his house?
他家里是不是很悲伤?
I'm not invisible. I'm right here!
我没有不见了,我就在这里!
His dad was sad, but the rest of his family was happy
他爸爸很伤心,不过他家里的其他人都很高兴
That's not true. I'm not invisible. Stop ignoring me!
那不是真的,我没有不见了,别再无视我了!
That's enough about the passive form for one day
今天我们已经学习了足够多的被动语态知识
Let's turn our teaching to the past perfect tense
现在我们开始学习过去完成时
We use the past perfect to relate 2 events
我们来用过去完成时
that have happened in the past
来关联过去发生的两件事
Often we don't know in what order the 2 events happened
我们常常并不这两件事发生的顺序
The past perfect is formed with “had + the past form of the verb”
过去完成时的形式是: had + 动词的过去式
Anna had arrived
安娜已经到了
Jim had eaten
吉姆已经吃过了
Now since we don't know when Anna had arrived
我们不知道安娜何时到达
or when Jim had eaten
或吉姆何时吃过
Just that they had
只是已经做过了
We can use the shortened form of “had” with pronouns
我们可以将had缩写和代词一起使用
For I had=I'd
比如I had等于I'd
For She had= She'd
比如She had等于She'd
He had= He'd
He had等于He'd
They had= they'd
They had等于they'd
We had= we'd
We had等于we'd
We create the question form by putting “had” before the subjects
通过将 had放在主语前面可以变成疑问形式
Had Anna arrived before Jim had eaten dinner?
安娜在吉姆吃晚饭之前就到了吗?
The negative form is “had not” and it can be shortened to “hadn't”
否定形式是 had not可以被缩写为 hadn't
Sarah hadn't eaten
莎拉还没吃饭
To demonstrate the past perfect tense watch the following dialogue
观看下面的情景对话怎样示范过去完成时的
Good evening. In the news tonight
晚上好,本次新闻节目中
There's a story of heroism and pain
将会讲一个关于英勇与痛苦的故事
but mostly pain
大部分是痛苦
A small dog has arrived on our shores
一只小狗游泳两天
after a two day swim through the ocean

Had the killer whale arrived at the beach before the dog
虎鲸在小狗抵达海岸前就到了海岸
Or was it just pure chance? We will never know
还是纯属巧合?我们无法知道
Locals tell us that the killing machine
当地人告诉我们
hadn't eaten for its entire life
这个杀手一辈子都还没有吃什么
Authorities assure us that the killer whale is remorseful
官方向我们担保那只虎鲸感到十分后悔
