Remember that the form of the verb “be” changes according to whether

The subject of the sentence is singular or plural

For singular subjects we use “is” and “am“

and for plural subjects we use “are “
主语是复数的情况下,我们使用 are
Also the verb “be” can be shortened for example

We form the question by putting the verb “be” before the subject
通过把be放在主语前面可以构成问句

We use the passive form when the person who does the action

is either not important or not known

For example
