Meaning: When you know you're right, you can't back down.

concede: v. 1. yield 让步

He conceded us the right to walk through his land. 他作出了让步，同意我们从他的地盘上通过。

The master conceded 10 points to me at the start of the game, but, even so, he beat me.

2. admit as true, often unwillingly
