1. 在外就餐种种表达：
Cream or sugar?
要奶精还是糖？
如果两个都要，回答both就好了。美国人也会回答please。这两种说法都可以，但please的用法更广。比如人家问你"Do you like a glass of water?"回答please就等于yes。而且感觉上更礼貌些。如果你要的咖啡是不要奶精的，那可以说"I want it black." black coffee就是不加奶精的咖啡。如果是去速食店点咖啡，回答both之后，店员还会问"How many?"因为速食店的糖和奶精都是一包一包或一盒一盒的，如果想各要两包就可以说"Two sugars and two cream."。

这句话是指这一餐随便解决。去餐厅吃饭时不可用。

a tad of这样的用法跟a little/bit of的用法很像，唯一不同的是，a tad of这个短语是专门用在调味料上，不能用在其他的场合。
