After I got the car back on the road again, I felt like a fool.

The fields, the towns ticked off one by one.

汽车驶过一处处田野、一座座小镇。

The light changed.

光线变暗了。

I knew now that I was going to see him again, and though I dreaded the sight, I caught myself searching the side of the road,waiting for him to appear.

我知道又要看见他了，虽然我很怕看到那幕景象，可是却忍不住把视线移向路边搜索，等待他的出现。
