The transnational love is advocating(宣扬) "love doesn't have boundaries", which has broken the traditional views of love. It promotes true love, which is just to the young generation's liking. According to the idea , affection is only the business of the couple in love, and needn't be explained to others, let alone abide by any exterior rules.

However, the mixed marriages are far more complicated than the mere love. Especially for the 1980s generation, due to their different family backgrounds, cultures, customs and social status, many disagreements can arise. As the only children at home, the majority of them turn out self-centered. Because of the lack of adequate understanding of marriage, language, culture, ideas, habits and customs, more and more mixed marriages are on the verge of breaking.
