Choosirig not to marry is a new phencimenon. Most cases in the past were due to various objective reasons. However, nowa days, for most people who choose not to get married, it's their voluntary choice. According to the statistics, the population of singles aged between 30 to 50 in Beijing and Shanghai has reached 500 000, among whom 60 percent are female. They are convinced that marriage is not the only way of life. Therefore, before meeting their ideal men , they would rather stay single than marry someone they don't like. After all, unlike eating and breathing, marriage is not necessary for life.
