Everyone agrees that we've got a shortage of affordable homes in England. But we need to solve that by building more of every type of home,because there are different people living in different circumstances. We definitely need more of those lower rent social homes,so the people who are on low incomes don't find it difficult to pay their housing costs.But there are also people who have a genuine expectation that they should be able to buy a home. We need to build more market homes so that house prices don't just keep going up and up and running away from them.Then there are the people in the middle who don't need the full support social renting,but also probably are never going to be able to buy a home of their own.For them we need things like shared ownership, which is where you buy a bit of your home and rent a bit of your home. That's not as cheap as a social rented home. But it's also not as expensive as buying a home on the market. If we don't build more of all these different types of home then house prices are just gonna go up and up and ordinary people are going to be forced out. So what type of home do you think is most needed in your area?

天津爆炸死亡人数上升至85
The Tianjin Municipal Government has confirmed that the death toll from two powerful blasts in the port area of the city on Wednesday night has risen to 85.
In a press conference earlier in the morning, officials said 21 firefighters were among the dead. More than 720 people have been hospitalized so far with injuries. Authorities also said they had identified some of the dangerous chemicals stored in the warehouse from Customs documents. Some of the chemicals identified include Cyanide and Benzene.
Officials also said constant monitoring of air and water quality was being undertaken in the area around the blast site. They also said most of the major fires had been put out. Firefighters are continuing to search the site for possible trapped victims, with dozens still reported missing. The city's fire department said as of Friday evening, 44 people had been rescued. That includes a 19-year-old firefighter, who is receiving treatment at the Teda Hospital.
According to initial estimates, 17,000 households and one thousand 700 enterprises have been affected by the blasts. Six thousand 300 people have been relocated. Tianjin authorities say they have received 1.7 million yuan in donations, daily necessities and medicines.

The China Automobile Dealers Association says about half of China's imported vehicles come through the port of Tianjin, the world's 10th largest port.
Explosions at the port late Wednesday destroyed almost 10,000 new cars and the total economic loss has been estimated at about 3 billion yuan.
Renault and Volkswagen suffered the most. The Renault Group says nearly 1,500 of its cars were destroyed and its economic loss stands at at least 200 million yuan.
Volkswagen says more than 2,700 of its cars were burned while Hyundai-Kia says more than 4,000 of its cars were ruined. Other automakers including Honda,Toyota and Mitsubishi were also affected, but they did not immediately release any details.
