If one of your new year’s resolutions is a healthier diet, one of your greatest obstacles may actually be your office, most of us spend more time at work than we do at home, so how supportive or unsupportive your office environment is maybe what makes or breaks your success. Here to offer her tips on this topic is our resident food coach and register dietitian Cynthia Sass.

And if you do that, it can really make a big difference, because when those are all around, we mindlessly motion grab them and we don’t even really realize that we’re doing it, so if you can just cut even a hundred calories a day, that snowballs into ten pounds, from, a year from now, you can be ten pounds lighter just from (Absolutely) a hundred calories a day, so…

Yeah, start a new tradition, ask your boss and your co-workers to commit to celebrating the birthdays within a month, just once in a month,so maybe the first of the month, the fifteenth of the month, so you’ll have one cake or one set of cupcake, so whatever it is, instead of three or four birthdays throughout the month. So you feel like you wanna take part and you wanna celebrate with your co-workers, and it’s really hard to resist it when it’s there, so if it’s just once, it can really make a difference.

A surging Scottish Nationalist Party rejects nuclear weapons as morally wrong and in the case of Trident lacking strategic value.
"But in addition to those moral and strategic arguments, it has become increasingly clear that Trident, and the renewal of Trident, is financially unjustifiable," said Nicola Sturgeon, Scottish Nationalist Leader.
This is why the Scottish Nationalist leader’s opinion on Trident is critical: Faslane the Scottish home of Britain’s nuclear fleet.
It featured in last year’s independence referendum.
The unexpected outcome an extraordinary switch of political loyalties north of the border that’s left Labor Leader Ed Milliband in all likelihood short of a Parliamentary majority and vulnerable to attack.

"This is all tangled up with things like britain’s role in the United Nations, you know on the Security Council of the United Nations, it’s wider international role and it’s people’s expectations of the government," he said.
After years of wrangling it is now possible Britain may leave the international club of nations with nuclear weapons. Not for ethical reasons, though, but because whoever comes to dominate this place after the election simply won’t have enough cash.

Death toll climbs to 7250 in Nepal quake

The official death toll from the April 25th earthquake has now climbed to over 7000. 14,000 people have been injured. At least 14 historic buildings have been destroyed or severely damaged. 12 are on the list of UNESCO World Heritages.
An assessment by the World Health Organization and Nepal's Ministry of Health says 90 percent of health facilities located in the worst- hit areas have been severely damaged.
People in the remote areas of the worst-affected districts are still waiting for medical aid, though medical teams have set up camps at relatively accessible locations.
Nepalese health authorities say some 50 national and international medical teams are involved.
