Busy men are always saying that they are on the go. If you want to sound busy, you can use this phrase, too!
忙碌的人总说他们马不停蹄,忙得不亦乐乎。你要想表达忙碌,就可以用此短语了。
[1] I was on business in Shanghai for a few days, during which I knew nothing about Marston. I was curious to know how everything was going with him, so I rang him up to inquire about his situation.
[2] He yelled on the phone, "You won't believe your ears. I am on the go from dawn to dusk. Last night I burnt the midnight oilto edit Mr. Dong's thesis. I almost worked myself to exhaustion! "
[3] I had to say something to lift his spirits, so I said, "Just take it easy. Please don't work yourself too hard. And don't forget the old saying, 'All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.'"
