Xiaohong：It's reported that a bus crash killed 27 people and injured a further 20 when the vehicle rolled over on a highway in southwest China's mountainous Guizhou.

小红：据报道，中国西南山区贵州的一条高速公路上，一辆客车侧翻，造成27人死亡，20人受伤。

Xiaohua：Wait! 27 people were killed in a bus crash! When did it happen?

Xiaohong：Oh, it’s weird that the passenger bus was travelling down a highway in the early hours of the morning, when many major roads in the province have been closed to regular traffic.

Xiaohua：Wow, social media users angrily demanded why the bus was going down the highway at that time, during which a hundred toll stations are shuttered because of Covid-19 restrictions and long-distance passenger journey across China are banned from running between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m.
