abandon

acknowledge

bump

The witness said that he was walking down the street, when he suddenly saw a car bump against a huge pine.

circuit

I ran a circuit of the small town.
我绕城镇跑了一圈。
Don't connect up the two wires, or there will be a short circuit.

complain
vi. 抱怨，诉苦；投诉，控告
The pop singer complained that there were not enough distractions in the town.

conventional
a. 普通的，习惯的，常规的；符合习俗的，因循守旧的

destruction

fantasy

function

heave
