1. I got two bone-dry caps and Audrey. 我带来了两杯卡布奇诺咖啡和奥黛丽•赫本的电影。Bone-dry由bone（骨骼，香烟）和dry（干燥的，禁酒的）合成，bone-dry连在一起有两个意思：一是绝对禁酒的，二是极干燥的。取第二个意思的时候，它也相当于as dry as a bone。比如说We badly need some rain; my garden is as dry as a bone. 我们急需些雨水，我的花园干透了。剧本里bone-dry caps是指无泡沫无奶的卡布其诺咖啡。注意这里的cap是指cappuccino（卡布其诺咖啡）。Audrey：这里指Audrey Hepburn奥黛丽•赫本。
   
2. I must have totally blanked on the part where I invited you over. 我怎么不记得我请你过来了。Blank 作动词是使…模糊，空白，作形容词则是空白的，空虚的。要说我不知道除了I don’t know 以外，我们还可以说My mind is blank. I’m totally blanked on the part where…我对…没有印象/我不记得…invite sb over：请某人过来。
   
3. Coffee, croissants,"breakfast at tiffanies." It's our tradition. 喝咖啡，吃羊角面包，看《蒂凡尼的早餐》，这是我们的习惯。Croissant：羊角面包，法国的新月形面包。Breakfast at tiffanies：蒂凡尼的早餐（奥黛丽赫本1961年的一部电影）。

6. Don't bother saying anything. 别费神了。Don't bother. 不用麻烦了。比如：No, don't bother. I can do it myself. 不用费心了，我自己来就可以了。Don’t bother sb.：别烦某人，别打扰某人。比如：Don't bother the professor while she is grading term papers.当教授评学期试卷时，不要打扰她。Don’t bother to do sth./Don’t bother doing sth.：别费事来做…比如：Don't bother to wipe up the dishes; just put them on the table.碟子不用擦干了，把它们放在桌上就行。
