It had long been his ambition to return to the frontline in Afghanistan. When he did so from the seat of an Apache helicopter with 662 squadron at the end of 2012, it seems it was to be his last tour of duty for queen and country.

It’s in this building here at Horse Guards Parade, once the official entrance to all royal palaces, like Buckingham palace, where Prince Harry will be stationed. His duties will include organizing significant projects as commemorative events. But the reasons for moving to London go much further than his day job.

But some might ask why having spent vast amount of taxpayers’ money on training the prince to such high standard. Harry has decided to call it a day.

We should be praising him and not being picky about how much it costs in training him.”

Being back in London has other benefits too. He will be closer to girlfriend Cressida Bonas for one. He will be able to take up the slack on royal duties from older members of the family. And while Kensington Palace won’t categorically rule out a return in future to the frontline,it does seem a remote possibility at best.

As the deadline of applying for the founding membership of AIIB approaches, another western country, Austria, has also decided to join the organization.
The decision was made after a cabinet meeting on Tuesday. The country's Finance Minister earlier had said that Austria's participation in the AIIB would serve government goals of building strategic partnerships with Asian countries, and paving the road for Austrian companies to develop their businesses in the region.
The decision made Austria the 6th European state that has showed intent to join the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, following the U.K., France, Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Weifang kite makers create new world record

Spring season is a great time for going out and flying kites. Kite making masters from Weifang, Shandong Province, have produced a 5,000-meter-long, dragon-shaped kite, now officially the world's longest kite, beating the previous world record from 2008.
The kite is composed of 2,500 smaller kites, and the string alone weighs 500 kilograms. It took 3 months to complete the kite project, thanks to the efforts of 20 experienced kite makers from Weifang, a city widely known as "the world capital of kites". However, only 800-meters of the kite was flown successfully last Sunday, due to weather conditions.
Previously the Weifang Kitefliers Association brought the "Chinese Dragon" kite to Changsha of Hunan Province and Shantou of Guangdong Province. Chongqing will be its third stop of its national tour.
