M: Hi，I heard you're looking for a different apartment.

W: Yeah, the place I'm in now is a real dump.

M: It was OK when I was there.

W: Oh. (5)The steam generator keeps breaking and when it does，we lose the heat for several days at the time.（因为锅炉老坏，所以公寓不能持续供暖。）

M: Why doesn't the owner replace it?
