This is actually my first time hosting a daytime talk show.

You might be wondering why I'm doing this.

Well, I don't know if you saw the stock market recently, but, as it turns out, I need the work.

I've seen some of the other guest hosts, and they always make up some excuse for why Ellen's not here.

Not me. I'm going to give it to you straight.

She's not at home. She's not at home at her other home.

Ellen is too busy. She got tied up backstage, and she can't be here.

And it wasn't easy. She's a fighter, that one. I'll tell you.

I've been on Saturday Night Live a lot recently playing President Trump.

I actually won an Emmy for playing President Trump, which is more Emmys than Donald Trump won playing Donald Trump.
