相关介绍： Metalcore已经玩完了？至少Unearth绝不这么认为。在主流重型乐坛了无新意的08年，成军十载的Unearth再次上紧了发条，让乐迷的神经从极度的无聊变成的极度的亢奋，在此之前你听过的若乾张08年的Metalcore唱片都可以见鬼去了。是的，Unearth并没有Lamb Of God、Killswich Engage那样的天赋，去走一条超越形式的个性化之路。举个例子，如果说Lamb Of God是Megedeth，Killswich Engage是Annihilator的话，那么Unearth就像是当年的Metallica.他们能让教科书上死板的和弦和部分所谓乐评家笔下固定的音乐形式焕发亮丽的颜色，早在06年Thrash Metal入侵Metalcore的那时候，Unearth就以一张严谨流畅的专辑给所有想要结合Break Down和激流节奏的乐队上了一课。时隔两年之后，Unearth又祭出了他们曾经擅长的瑞典旋律，以遍地开花的SOLO和滞重的硬核节奏把Metalcore带回了它应有的莫样。除此之外，已经深谙乐迷所爱的他们在这张专辑的开头就安排了一段强烈的Break Down，乐迷们用不着废什么力，迅速就能上耳。整张专辑下来，旋律流畅抓耳，节奏迅捷毫不拖沓，而在意识题材上则一贯的保持了硬核音乐的政治色彩。其中一首气势逼人的《Letting Go》更是深得笔者所爱。新意？用不着什么新意，Metalcore就是这么玩的。Unearth不是创造新意的乐队，而是想要创造新意的乐队的所不得不超越的对象。
