It would be impossible to see every exhibit in the museum in one visit-I recommend you don't even try. Check out your map, look at our list of recommended exhibits and make a plan for which things you'd most like to see. There are several recommended permanent exhibits at the museum: the Hall of Saurischian Dinosaurs on the fourth floor, Milstein Hall of Ocean Life on the first floor, the Hall of Biodiversity on the same floor, Guggenheim Hall of Minerals on the first floor as well. You cannot afford to miss these amazing exhibits I suggest you get off your feet a bit in between exhibits to watch IMAX films and Space Shows. The films typically last about 40 minutes and most are appealing to both children and adults. Besides,it's a good way to take a break, isn't It? If you do plan to watch the films or the shows, arrive early to ensure you get the best seats. It's a good idea to get to the theater about 15 minutes before the show time. This also gives you a bit of time in the event you get lost.
Please do not forget to read the instructions about photography. Except where noted, you may take pictures with your hand-held cameras. No flash photography is permitted in the Space Theatre and IMAX Theatre.
