They also keep chickens and grow vegetables on house boats.

A new home for the mice

Two field mice Doris and Boris lived in a field of wheat.

两只田鼠多丽丝和波利斯住在一片麦地里。

They were very happy until one day they met a rabbit who said,"You can't live here now.

A lot of farmers are coming to clean the filed."

"We'd better leave now,"said Doris.

So they quickly took a few things and ran out of the field.

They could hear the farmers coming.

"Now we're homeless,"said Doris sadly.

Suddenly they saw an old teapot not far away.

That can be our house.

That's even better than our house in the wheat field.They laughed happily and quickly got in.

They had found a place where they could live.
