blend in = if someone or something blends in with people or objects, they are very similar, and you do not notice them (融入环境)

blend本意是混合, in是进入, 所以合起来就是融入到周边环境里, 不引起别人的注意

She tried to blend in by dressing like the other girls.

这一句的blending in补充完整是I'm blending in.

2.Ernesto De la Cruz's Sunrise Spectacular? Que padre!

Ernesto De la Cruz的盛大演出? 太酷了！

sunrise = 日出

sunset = 日落

spectacular = 了不起的

Sunrise Spectacular = 演出的名字，表示一场在日出时分举办的了不起的演出

Ernesto De la Cruz = 人名，小主人公Miguel的曾曾祖父

Que padre = how cool（酷,西语词汇）

3.Every year your great-great-grandpa puts on that dumb show to mark the end of Dia de Muertos

每年你的曾曾祖父都会举办一场愚蠢的表演...来庆祝亡灵节的结束

Dia de Muertos = The Day of the Dead = 亡灵节

great-great-grandpa = 曾曾祖父 （爷爷的爷爷的爷爷）

put on a show = to organize an event, show, performance etc（举办）

put=放置, on=在..上边, 可以理解为把...放到舞台上边, 所以就是举办演出的意思

We're putting on a concert to raise money for cancer charities.

mark = n 记号 v 标记

mark = to celebrate something（庆祝）

We're going to hold a ceremony to mark the 50th anniversary of the end of the war

4.Cool off, chamaco. Come on. I'll get you to him.

冷静点, 小家伙. 来吧, 我能带你找到他

cool off = 冷静下来

cool是"使...凉爽"的意思, off 有关闭, 离开的意思, 合起来就可以表示离开燥热的状态, 进入一种凉爽, 冷静的状态

Let him cool off, you can talk about it later

chamaco = Spanish slang for kid, brat (小子，家伙）

5.-How? -Because I happen to know where he's rehearsing.

-怎么找? -因为我恰好知道他在哪里彩排

happen to do sth = if you happen to do something, you do it by chance（碰巧做某事）

We're not related -- we just happen to have the same name.

rehearse = v 彩排
