丽奈特提醒汤姆埃德打算解雇他，要他的工作尽善尽美，以免被抓住把柄。汤姆去找埃德谈话，一言不和动手打了埃德，因此离职。丽奈特质问埃德，反被告知，有证据表明汤姆在出差期间绕道去了亚特兰大城，流连酒吧并且给人送花。丽奈特旁敲侧击，问汤姆是否有话说，他断然否认。

贝蒂不愿送卡莱布进精神病院，准备野餐时送他去另一个世界，卡莱布无意透露马修怂恿他去找丹妮尔告别，贝蒂如梦方醒，回到家把马修关进地下室。

移民局将遣返女佣小梅，唯一的解决办法是她与美国公民结婚或者怀孕。加布丽尔立刻想出两全之策，让小梅作为她和卡洛斯的代孕母亲。仍是处子之身的小梅不愿未婚先孕，加布丽尔设法说服了小梅，却让她产生误会，以为要她和卡洛斯同床共枕。加布丽尔很快澄清了她的误解。

安德鲁发现彼得嗜性成瘾，故意让丹妮尔在餐桌上衣着性感，对他进行挑逗。彼得禁不住诱惑，与安德鲁发生关系，被回到家的布丽撞见。绝望的布丽留下一笔钱，把安德鲁遗弃在路边，含泪驾车离去。

迈克发现私家侦探在苏珊家外鬼鬼祟祟偷看，将其打跑。当晚他请苏珊来听侦探录下的磁带，苏珊承认与卡尔发生关系的事，迈克十分生气，赶她出门。苏珊欲买通侦探，可是他开价太高，苏珊自知不可幸免，写信向伊蒂说出一切。迈克随后告诉她花钱摆平了侦探，苏珊想尽办法从邮差那里偷回坦白信，茱丽阴差阳错又把信放回邮袋。泼辣的伊蒂趁苏珊去迈克家时放火烧了她的房子。
