诺亚-泰勒设计让保罗涉嫌“信用卡诈骗”遭到逮捕，搬来住在邻近的弗莉茜亚对迈克说，她相信保罗不会很快回来。迈克十分担心，前去告诉扎克外公泰勒的事，恰逢浑身是伤的保罗被送回家。扎克前去见泰勒，并警告他如果再敢伤害保罗，就跟他没完。工作和家庭中备感挫折，汤姆向丽奈特宣称，不愿再做她千依百顺的丈夫，在上班的电梯中，面对汤姆的坚持，丽奈特最终屈服。卡洛斯和加布丽尔的收养遇到难题，为了达到目的，他们说服丽奈特，让他们成为她孩子的教父母，看似顺利的计划却被约翰的母亲——海伦-罗兰打乱，她扬言要在同行中散布消息，让他们收养不成。卡洛斯与加布丽尔只能另换一家公司，用金钱开路。

苏珊的医生手臂骨折，罗恩将为她的手术主刀。卡尔来医院看望苏珊，并要护士好好照顾“他的妻子”，苏珊百辞莫辩。她向前来探望的丽奈特承认，她对罗恩没有象对卡尔和迈克那样的感觉。苏珊被推进手术室前迈克赶来，她非常高兴。手术室中，罗恩向苏珊倾吐爱意，她却告诉他自己爱着迈克，一边的护士冲口说出苏珊与卡尔的关系。争吵中，安德鲁骂布丽“老酒鬼”，她一怒之下打了他耳光。安德鲁为了动用信托基金，找律师要起诉母亲。布丽意识到自己必须改正酗酒的表象。
