AA指导彼得用实际行动向布丽证明自己的确嗜性成瘾，但他及时克制了自己，并为布丽换了一位导师，因为他不想破坏她的戒酒进程。布丽为上次看护孩子的事向丽奈特道歉，丽奈特原谅了她，但随后对布丽的动机产生疑问。本想在法庭上陈述真相的丽奈特在与安德鲁一番交谈后，认为他所说受到布丽虐待的事纯属谎言，于是违心地为布丽做了伪证，称她没有酗酒。 茱丽提醒卡尔他已经和伊蒂订婚，不要再和苏珊过分亲密，他表示还有几个月才打算结婚，所以有充分的时间与苏珊离婚。伊蒂从罗恩那里得知卡尔和苏珊的事，气愤过后决定原谅他们，只要卡尔肯花三倍的钱举行婚礼，而且要苏珊为他们的婚礼打点一切。订婚派对上，卡尔告诉苏珊，只要她愿意，他就取消与伊蒂的婚礼。弗莉茜亚来玛莎的一颗牙齿作礼物，保罗静静地离开。

布丽喝得大醉，彼得才露面，她坦言自己需要他。脱衣舞女即将分娩，她在男友的逼迫下说出孩子的父亲另有其人，卡洛斯夫妇意识到收养协议成为一张废纸，仍然不愿放弃，匆忙把刚出生的孩子抱回家。
