64.又一次无聊的聚会

Conversation at dinner parties was always so dull!
宴会上的对话总是那么无聊!
Thought Marissa as she watched the guests divide among themselves for their little petty comments.

"Yes,I got my new fur coat dirt cheap from a private dealer!

As Marissa continued to distribute her gaze throughout the room to see all the same people saying all the same things, she realized that she was ready for someone to dispense with the formalities of being nice and direct some harsh words at someone who really deserved it!
