第七课 报不上名
"It just didn't add up!"
“就是没法加起来!”
Bill thought to hiself as he flipped through his address book looking for the next person to call.
比尔一边想,一边翻着地址薄找下一个打电话的人。
"Why was there no one in the administration building?"
“行政楼里为什么一个人也没有呢?”
He had to have this last advanced course to be able to graduate at the end of the semester and no one was answering the registration phone.
他必须上着最后一期高级课程才能在学期结束时顺利毕业,现在却没有人接他的报名电话。

"Hello, registration."

Bill explained his problem once again.
比尔又解释一次他打电话的原因。
To add insult to injury, however, the person yelled at him for not calling sooner!

Bill had to admit to himself that they had a point.

Then he had wasted over an hour trying to reach them.

When he finally reached his advisor, she also began to add fuel to the flames before she added everything up to see that Bill was doing his best.
