好像曾经有一段时期，人们都喜欢把呼机、手机，还有照相机啥的都别在腰带上。那一圈高科技设备看上去，甚是让人仰慕。不过，如今这样做的人已经很少了，就算有估计也是随身携带各类工具解决技术问题的工作人员了。

Many technicians routinely hang numerous devices such as cell-phones, personal organizers, leatherman multitools, pocket knives, flashlights, walkie-talkies, even miniature computers from their belts. When many of these devices are worn at once, the technician's belt somewhat resembles Batman's utility belt; hence it is referred to as a batbelt.

很多技术人员都会把诸如手机、个人记事本、莱特曼组合工具、小刀、手电筒、对讲机，甚至小型计算机等挂在腰带上。如果把这些工具同时都挂在腰带上，那么这位技术人员的腰带看起来就像是蝙蝠侠的那条万能腰带。所以，技术人员携带工具的腰带就被称作“蝙蝠侠腰带”。
