The cake says it all... and for U.S. troops in Germany, their holiday has gotten a little sweeter. They're thousands of miles from their home, but the US Army Europe headquarters in Wiesbaden is uniting soldiers with a Thanksgiving feast. NCO Adam Martinez says it's a great experience, despite being slightly homesick.

There is of course, I definitely miss my mother's cooking. I don't think there is somewhere here I can get close to that, but that's probably one thing I do miss."

Public outrage over the suspected massacre of 43 students in Mexico isn't going away. Police officers working for a drugs gang are accused of carrying out the abduction and slaughter of the trainee teachers. A government office in Guerrero state was destroyed in the latest public backlash. Mexico's president is promising to reform the nation's chaotic police structure and end collusion between officials and drugs gangs.

Mexico has a mass of police forces. Hundreds of municipalities, 31 states and the capital each have their own. But poor training and low pay,just 370 dollars a month in some cases, have fuelled corruption. About 100, 000 people have died in violence linked to organised crime in Mexico since 2007. The trainee teachers abducted and feared to have been massacred aren't the last of them. In the same state, just hours before the president's announcement of police reform, the mutilated bodies of 11 people were found at this spot.

Some 750 migrants rescued by Greek frigate

Coastguard officials say some 750 migrants are safe, after their disabled cargo ship was towed ashore by a Greek frigate. Doctors have examined the mostly Syrian and Afghan migrants and say they're in good health. Greece's defense ministry released this video of the stranded ship in rough Mediterranean seas just off the coast of Crete. The coastguard says rescuers spent more than 24 hours fighting strong winds and waves. And they're calling it one of Greece's biggest sea rescues ever. But with heightened Ebola fears, the Red Cross says this rescue is unique:

Moscow's acclaimed Bolshoi Theater is staging this eternal story as opera for children,based Hans Christian Anderson's 'The Snow Queen' It's called the 'The story of Kai and Gerda' and director Dmitry Belianushkin says it's not easy keeping a child entertained. (SOUNDBITE) (Russian) PRODUCTION DIRECTOR, DMITRY BELIANUSHKIN, SAYING: "We tried to make the performance last not more than two hours, because a child of more than six years old is accustomed to the lesson of 45 minutes, then you have to give a break quickly. So we made it concise, compact and full of events." Svetlana Shilova plays the villain in the opera who says her character's traditional color was switched from blue to black and is intended to make the child audience think. (SOUNDBITE) (Russian) ACTRESS, SVETLANA SHILOVA, SAYING: "Of course they will maybe ask themselves, first, 'why is she dressed in black?' Our Snow Queen is more cold and maybe even evil, so all this story of Kai and Gerda, told within two hours will make a child think. The performance will debut Friday and is sure to have some thrills and chills for the kids in the crowd.

Jay Chou wraps up Hong Kong stop of his Opus 2 World Tour

It was a busy weekend for Mandopop as Taiwan pop star Jay Chou wrapped up the Hong Kong leg of his Opus 2 World Tour on Monday. The Opus World Tour began in 2013, taking Chou across the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southeast Asia. For his latest tour, Chou was originally scheduled to perform for four nights in Hong Kong but after tickets quickly sold out, two more shows were added.
On his last night in Hong Kong, Chou sang for nearly three hours and came back on stage for several encore performances for his insatiable fans. The 35-year-old singer said that it was tough to say goodbye when the curtain call came.
Chou is one of the best-selling pop artists to come out of Taiwan in the past decade. He changed the landscape of the Mandarin pop industry with R and B, hip-hop styled songs. In addition to a successful music career, Chou also writes scripts, direct films and acts in movies.
In 2011, he played the role of Kato to Seth Rogen's Green Hornet. And it was just announced that Chou will be returning to Hollywood for the sequel to the 2013 crime thriller Now You See Me. The next stop of the Opus 2 World Tour will be Singapore on December 27.
