Xiaohua：Hey, what have you been reading? You have been reading for hours. That must be an interesting article, right?

小华：嘿，你在读什么?你已经读了好几个小时了。那一定是篇有趣的文章，对吧?

Xiaohong：Hi, I've been reading an article from Psychology and Aging. A study found that there are associations between relationship characteristics and biological aging. Higher quality relationships lead to slower biological aging while relationships of lower quality lead to faster aging.

Xiaohua：Wow, but I think it's great being single, isn't it?

Xiaohua：You get to sleep on either side of the bed; you never have to wait for the bathroom; you've got all that "me time". Right？

Xiaohong：But you may be one of the unlucky singles who keel over about one decade earlier than your married friends, the new study says.

Xiaohua：The link between relationship status and well-being is a complicated one. Despite plenty of sensational headlines—”Get married and get fat!” “Stay single and die young!”—it’s hard to say definitively whether being a spouse or a singleton is healthier .

小华：关系状态和幸福之间的联系是复杂的。尽管有很多耸人听闻的头条新闻——“结婚，变胖!”“保持单身，英年早逝!”——很难确切地说，有配偶还是单身更健康。

Xiaohong：I agree. Life can be long or short, it all depends on how you choose to live it.
