　　令人担忧的是，在很多国家, 青少年犯罪率居高不下，成为困扰很多父母以及危及社会的一个严重的社会问题，很多专家已对如何改造青少年犯提出了很多的策略，一种观点认为：青少年犯罪应该和成年犯罪受到相同的处罚。我认为：少年犯不应该和成年犯受到完全相同的处罚，尽管处罚少年犯也应该为自己的行为负责。

　　我承认，对于青少年犯罪给予和成年犯罪者一样的处罚在改造少年犯方面有一定的积极作用。第一，这体现了法律的公正，可以想象，任何犯罪行为必然对受害者造成严重的身心伤害，因此，所有犯罪者，无论是少年犯，还是成年犯罪者，理应为自己的行为负责。第二，这样的处罚策略对于受害者以及家属来说是一种精神安慰，同时，这对于潜在的少年犯罪者有一定的心理威慑作用。

　　然而，我想要反驳的是：青少年犯罪和成年犯罪是有区别的，简单认为两者的处罚力度应该完全相同是肤浅的。第一，对于一些青少年犯而言，他们误入迷途可能是因为过失犯罪，或者是冲动犯罪，还有可能是被诱导犯罪，因此，教育是有效的策略之一，因为教育可以帮助他们反思人生，明辨是非，增强守法意识。第二，对于一些少年犯而言，出狱后可能缺乏谋生的技能，想要重现开始生活，心有余力不足，这种情况下，给他们提供工作技能培训更加可取。
