automtic a.自动的；自然而然的

[记]auto-自己；ma-似“妈”：-tic表示形容词亲妈都是会自动地对你好，自然而然地付出一切。

[搭]Automatic Teller Machine自动取款机(teller：出纳，也就是告诉你会给你多少钱的人）

[例]She is the automatic choice as the CEO for the board.她是董事会选CEO的必然选择。

automate vt.使自动化

[记]auto-自己；mate-音似“美特“。自己追求美都是特别自动化（automate）的事情。

[变]automation n.自动化

[例]The increase in the unemployment is partly due to the soread of automation.失业率的增高部分是因为自动化的普及。

mechanic n.技工；机械工

[记]我查(me-cha)尼康（ni-c)，因为我是一个机械工（mechanic）。

tone n.语气；音调；音色 vi.(色彩)搭调

[记]音似“痛(tone)”。不好的语气会让人心痛；音调太高会让人耳朵痛；音色不好弹出来【消音】痛。不同的音色在一起要搭调(tone)。

[例]Your shoes tone beautifully with your dress.你的鞋和你的衣服搭得很美!

tune n.曲调 vt.调音；调整

[记]这个tune怎么这么“土呢(tu-ne)”？所以要调整(tune)一下。

[近]adjust v.调整

[例]After the maternity leave, she found it difficult to tune herself to the busy life.休完产假以后，她发现很难调整自己去适应忙碌的生活了。
