“interesting是用在事身上的，
interested是用在人身上的。”
这个说法真的对吗？

很多老师在学校里教课会告诉大家说：
“interesting是用在事身上的，
interested是用在人身上的。”
乍一看似乎没错，比如：
This is an interesting topic.
I'm very interested in this topic.

Uncle Bear is an interesting person.
这句话真的错了吗？
把interesting用在人身上了，
表示熊叔是个有趣的人，完全没毛病！
“interesting是用在事身上的，
interested是用在人身上的。”
这样的描述到底出了什么问题呢？

v+ing和v+ed都可以用作形容词
其中v+ing有主动的意思，v+ed有被动的意思
举例：
exciting和excited
exciting字典里翻译是“令人感到兴奋的”
excited是“兴奋的，激动的”
所以理论上来说，
只要是主动的、令人感到*的就可以用v+ing
自己感受到的、被动感受到的就可以用v+ed。
例句：
The trip is exciting.
I feel excited about this trip.
Uncle Bear is a fascinating teacher.
（v+ing用在了人身上）
I'm fascinated by his speech.
This girl is amazing!
（v+ing又用在了人身上)
I am amazed by the population of China.
