I'll take a taxi. I just told you it's not far.

I know, but I can't hop, skip or jump in these shoes.

我知道 可是我穿着高跟鞋不能单脚跳 跳跃和起跳啊

This is a jump. Hopping is jumping on one foot. And this is skipping.

这是起跳 单脚跳是用一只脚跳 这是跳跃

If you do a hop, a skip and a jump, you don't travel very far.

如果你单脚跳 跳跃和起跳 你移动的距离都不远

So this expression simply means that something is not that far away.

所以这个表达的意思就是说某东西离的很近
