Paper cutting dates back more than 1,500 years in China and was inscribed as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO in 2009. The art has evolved differently all over the world, reflecting various cultures. I had the chance to meet a talented Swiss paper-cutting artist and learned how to do one myself at the 4th edition of Swiss Week Shanghai.
