4、keep an eye out 看着，留意着

Let's say it's your birthday today, and I'm expecting the delivery of that computer I ordered for you. I could say "I must keep an eye out for the courier."

5、It was a long shot anyway 反正希望不大。

a long shot希望渺茫

We often use this to make people feel better if something isn't successful. Oh, you bought a lottery ticket but weren't successful. in this case I would probably try to make you feel better by saying "Never mind, it was a long shot, anyway."
