Nerd Pride Day, also called Geek Pride Day, is a fun and serious day which celebrates nerds and geeks. Anyone around the world can feel proud to be a nerd or geek on this day. The day started in 2006 and takes place on May 25. This is a very special date because it is the world premiere of the first Star Wars movie in 1977. The day is a Spanish creation but crossed the Atlantic in 2008. It is now officially celebrated in America and other countries.
