The flowers in the garden faded at the end of summer.

insignificant

a. 无意义的，无足轻重的；无价值的

The rate has fallen by an insignificant amount.

比率虽有下降, 但微不足道。

extreme

Love and hate are extremes of passion.

absolute

a. 绝对的，无条件的；完全的

It's an absolute fact.

brake

v. 刹住（车）

The driver braked hard as the child ran onto the road in front of him.

好事；恩惠（bene+fact 做+ion→好事）

好处，利益（bene+fit 做→做事后的好处→利益）
