该片剧本由这两位演员操刀，导演格莱格·莫特拉自称是这对英国喜剧搭档的粉丝，并且表示很喜欢这个题材。另外，曾合作过的导演埃德加·怀特这次将在幕后担任执行制片人，影片将于明年3月份开机。
