加布丽尔、苏珊、丽奈特赶到医院时，布丽承认自觉有罪，因为雷克斯心脏病发作时她正和他争吵，害得他需要心律调整器。手术前雷克斯道歉说自己是个坏丈夫，布丽安慰他一切都会好起来。医生认为雷克斯体内钾含量过高，不正常，指出可能是天天做饭的布丽故意而为，雷克斯留下纸条说他原谅了她。布丽在家里接到电话，雷克斯死了。布丽惊呆了，擦亮银器后她忍不住失声痛哭。

加布丽尔作出有利于卡洛斯的证词，称自己为了让他嫉妒才撒谎说有情人，卡洛斯不是同性恋打手。就在法官决定判决卡洛斯的伤人不构成罪行时，约翰走进来告诉卡洛斯：“你打错人了。”卡洛斯暴怒之下扑向约翰，贾斯汀恰好挡在了他的前面，人们都以为他在向贾斯汀发难。

丽奈特在拱廊找到了汤姆，他都知道了，丽奈特无言以对。汤姆接下来的话让她大为惊讶，他说自己打算当家庭主夫，让她重新出去工作。

菲丽西亚告诉扎克，迈克在追杀他的父亲。扎克拿着枪把苏珊扣为人质，等迈克回来就要杀死他。迈克把保罗带到一处废弃的采石场，准备射杀他。保罗说出了事件的前后始末。
