Task 1.

　　1. Which of the following do you think the school should build to improve student life?

　　1. swimming pool 2.cafeteria 3. xxx

　　Well, I would say the school should build a swimming pool. Actually, it is very relaxing the moment you jump into the water, especially so in the summer. Swimming is a kind of aerobics, by doing this, one can release their pressure from study, and feel refreshed after swimming. Additionally, with the new swimming pool, the school can hold extramural swimming competition in swimming pool. It will surely attract lots of students, and thus strengthen university's reputation, so accordingly the university will have a larger enrollment, and generate more revenue.

Task 2.

　　Some people get to know a person by the first observation while others prefer to get to know a person by long time observation. Which one do you prefer and explain why.

　　Well, personally, I think it is more advisable to get to know a person by long time observation. As the saying goes time tries all, and I think this is also true with regard of getting to know someone. One might not be able to learn the real characteristics or personalities of that person on the first sight since the person might be a little shy and he or she might not behaving in the way they normally do, and it is not very reliable since that person might have a bad day and he is kind of grumpy on that day, so you cannot conclude that he is a unhappy person. He was just angry because of the bad things happened on that day.
