理由1：有很多commercial radio stations播放music, 有的电台甚至whole day都play music。想听音乐的学生可以去听那些电台的节目。学生都有自己喜欢的音乐台，不会因为学校的radio stations多放音乐，就不去听他们爱听的音乐台的节目了。

理由2：通过收听学校的announcements, 学生们可以随时了解学校的最新信息。

【名词解释】：人在面对一个problem的时候，有两种选择：一是do nothing, 二是采取行动take action。人们一般会do nothing, 因为taking action很可能带来negative effects。 【教授举例】：教授举了自己的例子。自己几周前开车去赶飞机，一路都挺顺的smoothly, 但后来遇到了traffic jam, 堵了半个小时，基本一动不动。这时，他想到了an alternative road, 只不过那条路有点绕远路。最终，教授还是决定在现在这条路上继续等待，因为他都已经等了很久了。如果去另一条路，万一那条路也堵车呢？最后教授missed他的flight。

Question 5 【学生困难】：男生的biology老师要和教授去纽约做presentation, 男生本人也可以去帮忙，但他发现，有关部门只给他出hotel费，不出transportation的费用，男生很苦恼。

【解决方案】：女生给男生两个方案：

方案1：提前买机票。但男生说马上就要出发了(departure day)，临时买机票会很贵。

方案2：改坐火车去。但是坐火车去纽约要一天时间，而且如果坐火车，男生就会miss掉某学科的review session, 那个review session很重要。

Need 1: birds fly together to avoid predators. In a multispecies flock, a chichi bird will not be attacked easily. chichi鸟负责放哨，当它发现危险，it will make a loud noise to alarm others。

Need 2: Increased numbers offer better chances of finding food. Wood鸟只负责寻找食物。
