A pregnant teen achieved some Internet fame after images of her showing off her big belly made the rounds on social media, where many expressed their shock and raised questions about teen pregnancy in China.
日前，一位怀孕少女炫耀自己大肚子的照片在社交媒体上流传开来，而她也因此在互联网上声名大噪。很多网友对此表示非常震惊，并且对中国未成年少女怀孕提出了质疑。
The images, posted by Sina Weibo user "Xiao Zheng Mei" on last Saturday, show the fresh-faced woman posing with her round stomach and include selfies with a young man who apparently is the baby's father.

"I guess these post-2000 generation kids don't have enough homework to do," read the apparently tongue-and-cheek caption.

Though their names are unknown, the 16-year-old mother-to-be and the young man, 17, are both from Xuchang, Henan Province, according to the "Xiao Zheng Mei" post. The legal age for marriage is 22 for men and 20 for women, according to Chinese Law.

The photos were reposted 47,000 times and received more than 14,000 likes and 43,000 comments on Weibo. Many expressed their surprise at the young couple's age and doubted their readiness to have a baby.
