Video footage of a woman criticizing a man and woman begging with an infant on Shanghai subway Tuesday has won widespread support on Chinese social media.

The footage, shot in a Line 2 train car, shows a heated exchange largely between the man and the critical commuter that sparked after she attempted to record video of them with her phone, media reported.

The man released a tirade against the seated commuter, while his partner stood nearby holding a child in her arms. "Why beg when you have arms and legs?" the commuter can be heard saying.
