Caohai Lake
草海
Caohai Lake, located in the outskirts of Weining County with an elevation of 2 200 meters,is a natural freshwater Lake found on Guizhou Plateau.
草海位于威宁县郊区,海拔200米,是贵州高原的一个天然淡水湖。
Covering a total area of more than 45.5 square kilometers, this lake is also the largest plateau lake in Guizhou.
面积超过45.5万平方公里,这个湖也是贵州最大的高原湖泊。
According to local historical records, there used to be four lakes in each direction.
