As quick and easy as making a cup of instant coffee, a Chinese company has developed a new machine which dispenses traditional medicine with a simple push of a button. Once a prescription is provided, staffs dispense the medicine and the machine does the rest.
像速溶咖啡一样快速简单，中国一家公司研发出一种新的药物，只需按下一个按钮，就可以发售传统的中药。提供处方后，职员会分配药物，其他所有工作就由机器代劳了。
It’s a far cry from the medicinal practices of old where Ginseng, fungi, dried sea horses, and other mysterious ingredients are carefully sorted before being steeped for hours in hot water. Now those ingredients can be prescribed and dispensed almost instantly, according to Sun Yougang of the Sichuan Neo-Green Pharmaceutical Company, the machine’s developer.

The biggest advantage is that our machine is able to dispense medicine accurately, every patient’s illness is different, a doctor might prescribe different amounts of medicine to a 30-year-old patient compared to a 50-year-old patient. Also some doctors might give you three doses, others might give you five.

The new machine though provides one pack, containing six individual servings, all patients need to do is open one of the sections, mix it with hot water, and drink. For Wei Ting, it makes a big difference.

Oil prices rise on hope of Chinese stimulus

Oil prices edged up on Tuesday on hopes of more economic stimulus from the Chinese government after weak inflation data.
The numbers were weaker than expected and raise concerns about growing deflationary pressures.
Analysts say the weak data indicate sluggish demand in the real economy, and suggested that the government should roll out more easing measures to boost growth.
Investors are also keeping an eye on oil supply, with OPEC agreeing to stick by its policy of unconstrained output last Friday.

It's another crucial week for Greece as it struggles to reach an agreement with lenders and avert bankruptcy. Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis has started the proceedings by holding meetings in Germany.
It probably wasn't the easiest of meetings for the Greek finance minister. After his government rejected a reform plan from creditors last week Yanis Varoufakis was keen to strike a conciliatory tone as he met his German counterpart in Berlin.
Greek Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis said:"Dr Schaeuble and I had a long, productive conversation. These are difficult moments for the European Union and the euro zone in particular and it is the duty of politicians, elected politicians, to take their responsibility to a higher level in order to try to achieve an agreement."
The meeting he said was "extremely friendly" and they both had a "common understanding". That's all very well - but it doesn't solve the crisis or secure a deal. Athens needs to make concessions and accept austerity cuts - and that's causing a split within Greece's ruling Syriza party.
"It is a very difficult set of circumstances and it does seem that the creditors patience is running thin and therefore the market does have to assume that the probability at least of a possible default does seem to be building," said Jane Foley, Senior Currency Strategist of Rabobank.
The end of June is considered the final, final date for a cash-for-reform deal. And the lenders are reportedly offering a 10 billion euro carrot. A fund set aside to recapitalise Greek banks could be made available, giving Athens the breathing space - economist Vicky Pryce says they desperately need.
Vicky Pryce, economic adviser of Center for Economics and Business Research said:"I can't see anyone 'winning'. What we really want is for this crisis to come to an end so things can normalise, give Greece a bit of time to think about. It's political future and it's economic future with help from Europe."
There was another sign of compromise which might be music to the ears of some. Athens may agree to extend its current bailout programme - despite election promises to scrap it.
