Russia has launched an investigation into the plane crash that killed Total CEO Christophe de Margerie on Monday night. The private jet hit a snow plow as it was taking off, killing all four people on board. The airport said visibility was low at the time of the crash. A French delegation has arrived to help with the investigation, such as translating black box recordings and providing technical data on the aircraft. De Margerie was a strong opponent of Western economic sanctions against Russia over its actions in Ukraine. He'd been at a meeting with foreign overseas executives at the country home of the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on the day of the crash.

A lack of security around quarantined homes in Sierra Leone is fuelling fears of the Ebola virus spreading. Around 200 homes in this suburb are supposed to be on lockdown. Ebola task force officers say residents are prepared to be isolated but need the government to provide necessities like food.

Bomb experts and dogs could be seen combing the area looking for additional devices. This area has been the focal point for Muslim Brotherhood protests against President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi until authorities tightened security here earlier this month. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Central Ottawa has been placed on lockdown, while police continue their search for more suspects in the dramatic shooting incident that left two people dead and the normally placid city in a state of shock. The drama began here, near the National War Memorial, where a gunman shot and fatally wounded a soldier. Then, more than 30 shots rang out in a nearby Parliament building. The alleged gunman was shot and killed by security staff. Despite earlier reports from witnesses, police say they cannot confirm that the same man carried out both attacks. (SOUNDBITE) (English) OTTAWA POLICE CHIEF CHARLES BORDELEAU, SAYING: "The sequence of events subsequent to that - there was an incident on Parliament Hill. We're not in the position to confirm the timing or that sequence of events because that is still under investigation." And that investigation began in dramatic style, police and tactical units flooding the streets. POLICE OFFICER SAYING, "Guys, there is a shooter on the loose, please move back." Local residents were warned to stay away from windows and off rooftops as police carried out their search. A source familiar with the matter says police have identified a possible suspect. But the motive of the shooting remains a mystery.

An office at the Coast and Country Housing Association headquarters in Redcar, of the 11 people in today, 9 are aged 20 to 34, and 4 of them are still living at home with their parents. It's becoming a national issue. In England alone, a quarter of young workers, almost two million people, have yet to move out to a place of their own. The figures are much higher in some areas, including Castle Point, Essex, Knowsley on Merseyside and Solihull. And almost half of them blame a lack of affordable housing.
-These figures show us two things. Large numbers of young working people are living with their parents, and most of them don't want to.The government says it is addressing the issue with the Help to Buy scheme and more Affordable Homes（.Lewis Thompson is one of those who isbenefiting.
-I'm 26 years old, so I've been saving up many many years now. Only reason I was able to get a house is I managed to get one with 5% deposit.If it wasn't for that, I literally wouldn't be able to move out.
Of the two older workers in this office, one has a 30-year-old son, working and living at home.
-That means basically that at the moment I can't retire, because we have to provide a larger property in order for him to have his own room, to have his own space. And as such we can't downsize.
The homeless charity Shelter says we are creating a "Clipped Wing Generation".
-We've seen a large rise, particularly in recent years, in the number of young adults living at home with their parents. It's now one in four. What we are saying is that young adults, in fact, the offer（？） is you can work hard, you can save hard, but you can still be living as a teenager in your childhood bedroom, and that's because frankly we just haven't been building enough affordable homes, and that's whatpoliticians really got to focus on [that].
